San Pedro Inspiration

While painting this afternoon street scene in San Pedro, a little girl came and asked me in the sincerest tone I could imagine “what inspires you in your art”?! My response: “it’s usually about the light”. While there are specific type subjects that excite me - like this kind of street scene - it’s the sun that makes all this a composition for a painting!
